The 2013-2014 school year is coming to a close! DreamCatchers had a wonderful year--we met many interesting and inspiring people, were able to work more closely with assisted living facilities, and participated in many Optimal hospice events. A HUGE thanks to all of our community supporters who donated supplies, services, or money. Another huge thank you to Optimal hospice and the volunteer department who make this all possible, the wonderful people who let us get to know them and grant them dreams, and especially the DreamCatcher members! We are looking forward to next year and can't wait to begin granting dreams again after this summer!
The Frontier DreamCatchers club was founded by Sarah and Sophie Constantine of Frontier High School in 2012. We brought the club to our school after participating in an event with the Liberty High School Dreamcatchers club, who picked up the club from Caitlin Crommett. We work through Optimal Hospice to grant the wishes of their patients. DreamCatchers is now embarking on their third year at FHS and we hope to fulfill many more of the patient's dreams.
